Rental & Reservation Policies

  • Your payment secures your date/hold your reservation, if you forget to pay – there won’t be a Yard Card Creation in your yard when you thought there would be.  We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration and feel free to post them all over social media, however DO NOT pull signs up from the ground or rearrange them. 

  • If you order a display for someone else’s yard, make sure they follow the same rules, we don’t want any unhappy folks.

  • Payee is responsible for damaged or missing lawn greeting at a rate of $20 per staked item.  

  • For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting, or playing on it. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.

  • We do ask that you take pride in your lawn display, and treat it with respect. Please DO NOT move the items.

  • Please do not throw lawn display items in the garbage, or vandalize our signs. Even if you do not like the display gift given to you, these items are our property and business. It is best to notify the honoree and not harm the display, as you are responsible for it.

  • Please protect our inventory from any damage that might be caused due to flying debris from lawn mowers, dogs, etc. Contact with string trimmers/weed eaters will cause damage as well. 

  • DO NOT attach balloons to any part of the display. Balloons get hot in the sun. If a hot balloon blows against our signs, our signs may become damaged.

  • PLEASE CANCEL LAWN SERVICES WHILE THE GREETING IS IN YOUR YARD.  If their equipment damages letters, you will be charged $20/letter.  If their equipment blows debris on the letters, there will be a $25 washing fee.

  • Nini's Yard Card Creations and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during set-up, your rental of the display or removal of any rental and while they are in the yard. We also indemnify you if we gouge ourselves while we are setting up the display.

 

 

 

 

 

We ask that you water the night before for us for 45 minutes and again the day of your delivery  for ONE HOUR during hot dry months MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUGUST & SEPTEMBER.  Not watering makes your sign messy and sometimes we cannot even get it in the ground at all.  It also breaks our stakes and takes us three times as long to install making us very behind and it hurts our hands!!!  If you do not have a sprinkler system you must water much longer.  If your grass is dead there is a reason and we likely will not be able to install because the ground will be hard as concrete.

 

Do the yard test.  After you have watered walk out and push a nail, skewer, screw driver or knife  into the ground if it goes in easily with no struggle you are  SUPER STAR and have done an excellent job!!! If you can’t get it to go in the ground all the way… guess what we won’t be able to either. Time to turn water back on and leave it until you can do the above test with success.

Water, Water, Water!

Failure to water properly will result in your sign not being delivered and no refunds or redeliveries will be made. Sorry but we did our part and we have been very clear on telling you to water.

  1. ​If you must cancel your booking, all cancellations must be done 48 hours prior to your greeting date to receive full refund.  After that, you can choose to receive 1/2 of your booking rate as a refund, or you may leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date, based on our availability.

  2. In the event of inclement weather, we may not be able to set up any lawn displays. Inclement weather includes:

  •  Lighting/thunderstorms

  • Hurricanes, 

  • Heavy Rain 

  • High Winds

  • Any other Acts Of God that would put us or our lawn display in harm's way and will be given a full refund or credit for future booking.

  1. By submitting payment, payee agrees that delivery address, delivery date, spelling and verbiage of yard greeting are correct as submitted on invoice.  

  2. No refunds will be given due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the lawn display.

  3. No refunds if you order a sign for someone else’s yard, and they call us to come get it. 

  4. No refunds will be given due to being denied access to gated community. 

  5. No refunds will be given due to any animal that prevent the display from being set up.​
